Breithorn je ena najbolj obiskanih 4000-ic v Švici poleti. Za mnoge je njihova 'prva 4000' .. zelo priljubljen 'ednodnevni' tur z žičnico Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, ki vas udobno prepelje do končne postaje 'Klein Matterhorn' na 3883 m. Torej je treba 'samo' pridobiti 300 metrov višine. Ampak!
