Vrh Muntele Mare - 1826 m je tretji najvišji vrh Apusenov, za vrhom Bihor 1848 m in Vf. Vlădeasa 1836 m.
Vrh leži na meji med okraji Cluj in Alba. Dostop z avtom je prek postaje Muntele Băișorii nato do Buscata, po asfaltni cesti. Odtud do vrha maksimalno 3 ure.
