Opis:
Cauliflower Mushroom Sparassis crispa is a unique and prized edible fungus. It is both parasitic and saprobic. This one was found at the base of a Ptich Pine. Unique in form, looking like cauliflower or a brain coral, it may be best described as a pile of egg noodles. They do not occur in groups but a single mushroom can weigh as much as 10 to 50 pounds. Recommended in stews and soups for its texture.
