Opis:
Featuring common plants and telling their 'stories' that you can find in your backyard is my focus. How wild strawberries (Fragaria virginiana) taste best is debated considering how plants are often crossbred for commercial characteristics other than taste is discussed. How to identify this plant is explained and compared to Mock or Indian Strawberry (Potentilla annus) and cinquefoil (Potentilla reptans) that may be growing with it. As always a sneak in some botanical terms for your biology and nature education!
