Un bel rifugio arroccato sul finire del selvaggio Vallone di Lourousa, un importante punto d'appoggio per le escursioni sul Massiccio dell'Argentera. Partenza dalle Terme di Valdieri dopo un lungo e faticoso sentiero (3 ore e mezza di salita con un dislivello di circa 1000 m) ci si può godere della maestosità della Parete Nord del Massiccio dell'Argentera e della ripida parere Sud-Est del Monte Matto.
