Opis:
Der Turm mit integrierter Kapelle zählt zu den ältesten Bauten des Pinzgaues und wurde 1130 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Er ist ein Beispiel für die einst im Pinzgau häufigen und typischen kleinen Wohntürme und bewachte einst den Eingang zum Habachtal, in dem sich das einzige Smaragdvorkommen Europas befand. Etwa 25 m über dem Tal auf einem Felsen errichtet befindet sich die gut erhaltene Ruine des 16 Meter hohen Weyerturmes.
