Leta 2017 je Sarah Williams opravila samostojno, nepodprto 100-dnevno celotno prečenje Apalaške steze. Steza je najdaljša pešpot samo za hojo na svetu. Začenši na Springer Mountainu v Georgii, steza vijuga skozi 14 zveznih držav Amerike na 2190 miljah, preden se konča na Mount Katahdinu v Mainu.
