Mount Olympus is well known as the home of the gods of Greek Mythology. However, the reality makes it an even more special place – an area of stunning landscapes and a biodiversity that is the richest in what is already one of Europe’s biodiversity hotspots – the Balkan Peninsular. This short talk will pick out a selection of the plants, some only found on Olympus, that really are amongst the treasures of the plant world.
