The Nāpali Coast Trail is one of the most dangerous trails in America. Traversing the rugged northern coastline of Hawaii's garden island of Kauai, the trail climbs steep ocean-side cliffs, drops down into lush hanging valleys, crosses swollen streams, and hugs crumbling landslides 1000 feet above the surf. Filled with fresh, tropical fruit and abundant, surprising wildlife, the trail out to Kalalau is one heck of a journey.
