First let me explain the seemingly cold and callous reaction of my friends to my situation 3/4 of the way through this video. Everyone there has seen me spiral. They all know that there’s little they can do but make light of the situation and take some satisfaction in the fact that it’s not them feeling like they just got off the teacup ride at Disneyland. However, behind all the jokes made at my expense there’s a knowledge that they would do anything to make sure I don’t die out there. Also, I would definitely be making fun of them if the roles were reversed. When we set out on this adventure we didn’t know it had a name until a stranger on the trail educated us on it’s existence. Turns out we were attempting the Floral Park Traverse, a very aptly named 26 miles of floral splendor through Glacier National Park. This episode was filmed August 2. I’m not sure if that's peak flower time but it sure felt like it.
