Opis:
The K2 Bottleneck is located on the Southeast Spur Route (also known as the Abruzzi Spur) at 8,200 metres (26,900 feet), just 400 metres (1,300 feet) from the summit. The Bottleneck is a thin couloir – a narrow gully with a steep gradient – overhung by seracs along the edge of the ice field east of the summit. In the 2008, 11 climbers were lost.
