Buried deep in the Wind River Range there is a mountain called Harrower Peak by most and Ellingwood by some. To climb Harrower in a day I’ll be required to speed shuffle 30+ miles and climb 10 pitches. My day starts at the Pole Creek Trailhead, then I’ll run past Photographers Point, Seneca Lake, Island Lake then some off trail route finding to the base of the climb. For Aaron and Chase it should be a shorter day. They packed in most of the climbing gear the day before and should be meeting me about 2 miles from the climb. Weather was forecasted to be clear and there was nothing on our route that justified the click bait title. But the Wind River Range is full of big surprises.
