Tahoe Rim Trail tvori popoln krog 165 milj okoli Lake Tahoe Basin na meji Kalifornije in Nevade. Prehod poti po navadi traja 10-15 dni.

Moj prijatelj Adam in jaz sva načrtovala fastpacking po poti v 5 dneh konec junija 2019. Edini problem je bil, da je bilo to leto z izjemno veliko snega, s snežno odejo v Sierra Nevada nad 200 % povprečja in 33-krat več kot prejšnje leto.
