Der Startpunkt der Tour ist der Parkplatz in Wenten (ca. 560 m).

Auf der Asphaltstraße wandert man bergauf und am Bauerhaus Wenten (608 m, Weg Nr. 208) vorbei. Kurz darauf gelangt man auf eine Forststraße, die durch bewaldetes Gebiet weiter aufwärts führt.
