Opis:
Moja prva velika avantura po prihodu na otok Negros je bila do Mayana Peak. Čeprav je za večino kratek 15-minutni pohod, sem prišel z bicikla iz San Carlos Cityja. Z 835 m vzpona na kolesu je bilo srečo, da je pohod do Mayana Peak trajal samo 15 minut več. Kampiral sem na vrhu čez noč v noro deževnem vremenu, a sem bil deležen spektakularnega sončnega vzhoda pred spustom nazaj v San Carlos do 8. ure za zajtrk.
