20 miles east of Arches National Park, Canyonlands, and Moab there is a mountain range that has caught our attention since high school. While running or biking in Moab we'd gaze off into the distance at Mount Peale and Mount Tukuhnikivatz and think 'it would be awesome to ski those' than we'd instantly brush off the idea because it was spring time and we had already checked out of ski mode. The last two years we managed to keep the idea front and center and then in mid March we managed to pull it off with the help of a surprise late season snow dump. It was as spectacular as we had imagined when we first saw those salty peaks.
