If you don't take your kids and teach them some measure of trail manners and safety measures, they will grow up to be adults who act like children on the trail.

But what level of danger is acceptable for your own kids? We certainly don't want to put them at a high risk... but some risk can be beneficial. How much? I'm no expert... let's ask the kids!
