SALKANTAY TREK TO MACHU PICCHU
We invite you to enjoy and discover the happiness and joy behind the Salkantay experience! We are a collaboration of 12 local families who live along the Salkantay trail to Machu Picchu Our lodges and family homes are strategically located in unique sites along the traditional trail which will allow you to enjoy the views and the experience of hiking the trail, with the comfort of your own private room each night, with a private bathroom, a hot shower, and the luxury of sleeping in a bed. We will take you along an historic, original Inca trail and through 15 different ecosystems, while you trek through the mountains, passing over 15,000 feet. Always accompanied with our mules, to carry your belongings, an emergency horse to ride and enjoying a refreshing coca tea, reaching the highest pass.
