Opis:
In 2014, Barbara Büschlen succeeded in climbing the route 'Pschüttigütti' 8a + / 8b in Ueschinen. The route was set up by Jürg von Känel and Hanspeter Sigrist pulled off the first free ascend in 1988, rating it 8b. (Topo today 8a + / 8b). Barbara wasn’t even born at that time. Ever since she had been climbing in Ueschinen, she had been inspired by this route even though looking at it from below filled her with many unanswered questions. At first, no holds are visible, making it almost impossible to come up with an idea or a plan on how and where to hold on to, let alone climb up. Late in the day, the wall is in the shade, so Barbara went to Ueschingen a couple of times after work. Having literally examined the route from top to bottom, she figured out solutions. Eventually, she put everything together and climbed all segments of the route. All different grips and steps she could now handle in her sleep; tickmarks were of no use since the first rain would have washed all markings away. It really was a very exciting experience to climb a route in this micro-climbing style.
