Sempre più frequentemente s'incontrano in montagna ciclisti su bici a “pedalata assistita”, le cosiddette e-bike o bici elettriche, che danno loro un importante aiuto nei tratti di saluta più duri.
Purtroppo però la tecnologia non ha ancora trovato un sistema analogo di “camminata assistita” e pertanto questa volta ci siamo avvalsi pure noi di un surrogato di “salita assistita”.
