This first section of our 250 mile thru hike of the Olympic Peninsula along the Pacific Northwest Trail starts in the eastern-most town on the peninsula, Port Townsend. The trail takes us Westbound through fishermen villages, shipyards, bike paths, power lines, farms, road walks, and up into the foothills of the Olympic mountains via the Buckhorn Wilderness.
