Manú National Park is a highly protected zone of Peru, a recognized UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site. The park is mostly inaccessible and therefore has remained in pristine condition. Manú is home to the highest biodiversity in the world including over 15,000 species of plants, 1000 species of birds, and contains among the most land vertebrates in the world.
