Opis:
Vajont je ime potoka, ki teče po dolini Erto e Casso in se izliva v Piavo pred Longarone in Castellavazzom, v pokrajini Belluno (Italija).

Zgodovina teh skupnosti je bila pretresena z gradnjo jeza Vajont, ki je povzročila plaz s hriba Toc v umetno jezero. Zvečer 9. oktobra 1963 se je dvignil ogromen val, ki je povsod posejal smrt in opustošenje.
