In 1996, Neil Carson climbed The Big Bang (9a) at Lower Pen Trywn in North Wales. After this landmark ascent, Neil disappeared off the UK climbing scene and moved to France.

Now, after Emma Twyford made her landmark ascent of The Big Bang, Simon Lee of UKBouldering.com tracked Neil down to talk the route, climbing and life.
