An elite group of climbers attempts to be the first to measure the height of Hkakabo Razi, in Myanmar (Burma), said to be Southeast Asia’s highest peak. But the challenges they encounter are more than they bargained for. Situated in the largely unexplored Dandalika Range—which has long been overshadowed in mountaineering circles by the loftier mountains of the Himalaya—Hkakabo Razi is something of a forgotten peak.
