I've travelled to Chamonix twice before with the intention of climbing the surprisingly deadly Mont Blanc. On both previous attempts we got rained out and spent our time under a gloomy sky. This time however, the sun shone brightly on Chamonix and the surrounding Mont Blanc Massif. After failing to accurately research our trip we found ourselves driving a poorly equipped 2 wheel drive rental up to Col De Voza. From there we took the 'normal route' or the Goûter Route up to Tête Rousse. Our original plan was to stay at a different refuge but nothing we kinda planned really worked out. So we improvised all the way to the summit which according to recent news has shrunk by 3 feet. Thank goodness, I'm not sure Christof could have handled another 3 feet.
