Opis:
At 4,509m Mt Wilhelm is the highest mountain in Papua New Guinea, and one of the highest summits in Oceania. Although it is a none technical hike, because of the altitude, it should not be underestimated. It is advisable to climatize at base camp, even hike to the second lake before attempting the summit early the next day. The trek from Betty's Lodge begins at 2,600m with an overnight at base camp. Here's how I did the climb.
