Here we have the Timp Traverse in all of its rocky, windswept glory. So. Much. Wind. Unless you love kite flying, or run a wind farm I can't think of any reason you would love the wind. It's like that an annoying high school acquaintance who constantly tried to push you over, take your hat off, and yell in your ears. You would never call him to hang out, he just showed up uninvited. Just like the wind. This version of the Timp Traverse ended up being 10,400 ft of climbing and 19 miles in length. I've been getting a lot of grief from people on the total elevation gain. Everyone thinks my watch was way over. Please, if you prove my watch wrong, let me know. If you prove it right, also let me know, so I can rub in these peoples faces.
