Quattro cannoni 149/A sotto cupole blindate e numeroso ed articolato armamento vario anche in postazioni esterne.
Come tutti i forti italiani era costruito da un buon spessore di cemento magro impastato con ghiaia grossolana, ma senza armature in ferro. Una soluzione molto 'economica', vista la grave crisi finanziaria del tempo.
