Da Prato Piazza si percorre una strada bianca verso est che porta al rifugio Vallandro e al vecchio Forte Austriaco, da qui proseguendo sul sentiero 34 raggiungiamo la vetta del Monte Specie StrudelKopf m. 2307 dove si gode di un ampio panorama sule Dolomiti.
