Opis:
Il Makalu e' simile all'Everest, con una piramide che si erge scoscesa, da quota 7000 metri. essendo una montagna tra le più alte al mondo, è spesso soggetta a forti tempeste e raffiche di vento. il makalu non si fa scalare facilmente. E' una cima timida e severa, che non ama troppa gente su di essa. Gli scalatori spesso la evitano, per gettarsi sull'Everest, che è lì vicino, più semplice e commerciale da scalare.
