Easy 3 1/2 hour T2 level hike. The Lötschental panorama trail is listed in the top 3 of most beautiful autumn hikes in Switzerland (in almost any list you can find online), for good reason! In October, the trail passes through blazing golden larch forests and red blueberry bushes, with clear views on the snowy mountain range on the other side of the valley. Combined with blue sky, the colors are blinding and unreal. A lot of people walk this trail, since it's not only beautiful, but also pretty easy and can be done with kids as well as older relatives. To avoid the crowds in October, try to go during the week.
