'Gis' je domača gora 'Linčanov'. Le 10 km je od centra Linza, ki je 'Hauptplatz'. Vrh 'Gis' ima nadmorsko višino 926 m. Torej je višinska razlika skoraj 700 m. Njen stari razgledni stolp 'Gisela-Warte' (zgrajena 1856) je legendaren.
