La cascata del Botto è formata dal torrente Sovaglia che nasce dal Monte Generoso posto alle sue spalle.
Il Buco della Sovaglia, appartiene alla rete idrica, tra le più importanti sorgenti del Monte Generoso. Per raggiungerla bisogna percorrere a piedi un tratto tra la boscaglia, di circa trecento metri, nella Val Sovaglia da cui nacque il nome.
