The panoramic Jägihorn Trail is a spectacular Alpine via ferrata with breathtaking views of the highest mountains in Switzerland. Located at a lofty 3,206 m a.s.l., the Jägihorn via ferrata is the highest in the western Alps. It is considered one of Switzerland’s greatest via ferratas. The Jägihorn is a K3-graded via ferrata, but the bridge route would make it a K4 trail. Around 400 pegs (steps and grips) and five ladders lead to the summit. Due to the via ferrata’s high altitude, some snow may still be on the ground in early summer – please tread carefully. Good and reliable weather conditions are a prerequisite for taking on this trail.
