Vse pravice pridržane. Avtorske pravice © Gregory Kaczor Khan Tengri ali Hantengri vrh je gora Tian Šana. Nahaja se na meji Kitajska - Kirgizistan - Kazahstan, vzhodno od jezera Issyk Kul. Khan Tengri je masiven marmornat piramida, prekrita s snegom in ledom. Njegova geološka nadmorska višina je 6995 m (22.949 ft), vendar se njegova ledeniška kapa dviga do 7010 m (22.999 ft). Ime 'Khan Tengri' dobesedno pomeni 'Kralj neba', 'Gospod neba'. Drugo njegovo ime je Kantau »Krvava gora«. Gora je dobila ime zaradi rožnatega granita, ki pokriva vrh. Ob sončnem zahodu dobi rdečkast odtenek.
