We ended our time in Georgia in Kazbegi, another beautiful mountain region about 3 hours north of Tbilisi. We started with a hike to Gergeti Glacier in Stepantsminda before making our way to Juta. Juta is known as the Georgian Dolomites and we stayed at the Fifth Season Guesthouse with an incredible view of the rugged mountains. We did a hike up the valley to the Chaukhi Pass. And finally, we drove up the Truso Valley to the Zakagori Fortress. This is a 4x4 road made for quite the adventure! We had an amazing 3 weeks in Georgia! From the beautiful landscapes, remote nature, friendly people and delicious food, Georgia surprised us in many ways!!
