Built to provide a minimalist package for maximum storm protection, the completely waterproof (water column: 10,000 mm) highly breathable (MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24h) Puez Light Powertex Men's Jacket weighs an incredibly light 160 grams. We designed this no-frills jacket specifically for longer alpine trekking tours, such as the Alta Via in the Dolomites, where you want to keep your pack weight down. Made from Powertex Eco fabric, the Puez Light is waterproof, windproof, breathable and highly packable. The fully seam-taped laminated construction consists of a water-repellent shell fabric combined with a waterproof/breathable membrane and an additional barrier coating. We also use a protective eco-friendly DWR (durable water repellent) finish to keep the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable membrane continues to work effectively. There is no need for a protective liner, which makes it lighter and even more compressible. Powertex has a pleasant textured hand that feels dry to the touch. This jacket has a slim, athletic fit that still accommodates a light insulation midlayer and a slightly lower tail for better fit during movement. The tailored hood, cuffs and hem all have a stretch binding for additional protection. What’s more, the Puez Light weighs only as much as a couple of apples and packs down to the size of a sandwich.
