The Leaning Tower is located in Pisa, Italy. It stands on the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli), also called the Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo). Here, together with the circular baptistery and the cemetery, it is part of the church complex around the local cathedral. The inclined tower of the circular plan itself, built of white marble, serves as a bell tower. It is almost 56 meters high.
