Nel territorio di Baunei una gola breve ma verticale precipita direttamente sulle acque trasparenti del Golfo di Orosei.
Si tratta di Bacu Padente, uno dei luoghi più belli e affascinanti del 'Supramonte Marino' immerso in un ambiente incredibilmente integro e selvaggio dove la natura si è scatenata in tutta la sua bellezza dando vita a grotte e archi naturali e dove gli agenti atmosferici hanno modellato all'inverosimile la roccia calcarea conferendole le forme più bizzarre.
