Expedition to Huascaran. Peru's highest mountain, Huascaran Sur at 6768m is located in the Cordillera Blanca near the town of Huaraz. I joined a small commercial expedition by www.enriqueexpedition.com with 3 clients and 2 guides. First we did a 3 day acclimatization climb of nearby Nevado Pisco (5750m), followed by a rest day in Huaraz and then the 7 day climb of Huascaran.
