Opis:
Hrad bol postavený v polovici 13. storočia v nedostupnom teréne Nitrických vrchov. V období 15. a 16. storočia viedli bohatí páni početné majetkové spory o túto neskororománsku pevnosť, ktorý často menila majiteľov. Hrad medzi inými patril tiež Matúšovi Čákovi Trenčianskemu či Žigmundovi Luxemburskému a napokon pripadol rodu Zayovcov.
