Opis:
How to find and identify edible Pear-shaped Puffball mushrooms, also known as Stump Puff balls ( Apioperdon pyrifome) is explained as I discover these growing on a log on the Appalachian Trail. Children and adults have always enjoyed kicking over Puffball Mushrooms or squeezing Stump mushrooms to reveal clouds of 'brown smoke'. The 'brown smoke' is actually trillions of mushroom, hydrophobic spores.
