Der Großvenediger, die „weltalte Majestät“, ist der stark vergletscherte Hauptgipfel der Venedigergruppe in den Hohen Tauern am Alpenhauptkamm an der Grenze von Osttirol zu Salzburg. Mit einer Höhe von 3.666 m ist er der höchste Berg in Salzburg.
