Opis:
The Pacific Crest Trail briefly skirted the edge of the Trinity Alps Wilderness in Northern California when I hiked thru in 2020. I remember seeing massive granite peaks off to the west and writing notes to myself to return here after my thru hike one day to explore the area more thoroughly. This 5 day backpacking trip is our first excursion of summer 2021, and it did not disappoint. In this video, Part 2 (Days 3-5), the trail takes us through a granite wonderland brimming with wildflowers and into the Giant Redwoods! If you missed Part 1 (Days 1-3), we hiked through the heart of the famous Four Lakes Loop—jam packed with high passes and pristine alpine lakes.
