Desde el refugio Portillón tomamos el itinerario hitado que perdiendo unos 200 m. de desnivel nos permite enlazar con la subida normal desde Espingo. Asecnsión al Gran Quayrat (3060 m.) y bajada a les Granges d'Astau.
