I share the whole route of my ascent to Elbrus from the south! You will learn what to pack, how the acclimatization goes, where people live on Elbrus and what it takes to climb the mountain.
Mount Elbrus is one of the 7 summits, the highest mountain of European continent and tenth-most prominent peak in the world. The mountain is located in Southern Russia, in the Russian republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. Elbrus has two summits, both of which are dormant volcanic domes, it's West summit is 5642 m high, the East one is 21 m shorter - 5621 m.
