Der Bahnhof Ostkreuz ist weit über Berlin hinaus bekannt - 12 Jahre lang wurde er saniert (2006 - 2018) und auch heute noch gibt es Feinarbeiten. Auf keinem Bahnhof in Deutschland halten mehr Züge - es gibt täglich 1500 Stopps - mit 123 000 Ein-Aus- und Umstiegen.
