In Cusco, a landslide of great proportions swept away access roads to Machu Picchu citadel. Considerable destruction in the area due to the overflow of the Alcamayo river. The access to the Machu Picchu site is closed because the railway was damaged just right before arriving at Machu Picchu Pueblo or Aguas Calientes.
