“We did it!” These were the only words that came to mind after summiting Katahdin. Tara and I had no words for how we were feeling. All I knew is I wanted to soak in the moment as much as I could. Our adventure had come to an end. The feeling of completion was great, but I’m not sure we were ready for it to be over.
